FATOU Hair Braiding

Always a pleasant environment. I’ve been going to Fatou since she opened at this location and before she became a business owner. Her and her employees are always welcoming and the services they provide are top notch!!! I am always pleased with my hair styles!

After passing by this braiding salon several times, I decided to give Fatou Hair Braiding a try. I didn't have an appointment but they were able to take me as a walk-in. The owner and the three stylists were all very friendly and professional. As a new client, I felt welcomed. I asked for medium box braids and it only took them just under four hours to complete. The stylist started off and then the owner joined in to help. I love my hair! I found my new braiding salon that's just minutes from my home.

So my wife has been looking for a place to get her hair done and for a affordable price, we came across Fatou Hair Braiding and went in to ask a few Questions? They were extremely professional, respectful and while still doing there clients, they never skipped a beat! They took time to answer all the questions we had and then booked us for an appointment. My wife’s hair came out AMAZING! So we went back a second time, but my wife wanted color added, so they had us bring the color we wanted and completed the entire process with a smile while doing so. They have several colors, but the specific one my wife wanted, they didn’t have it on site, so we made sure to bring it in with us! The color overall came out extremely nice and the price was still very affordable all in one!!! We go to them

I have been going to Fatou for almost 10 years now since she worked at Grace Hair Braiding, and she has her own shop now. She's professional, on time, efficient, accommodating (I've requested 2-3 braiders to save time and she delivers!), and easy on the edges. Definitely my go-to braider.

I came in on a Sunday afternoon and was told to come back bright and early the next day at 9:30 a.m. I was assured that one of the braiders would be there to help me since I had a simple style. When I arrived there was another lady in the parking lot waiting as well. The place was completely closed with lights off. I sat in the parking lot waiting for at least 45 minutes talking to a friend. The other person may have sat longer. Finally, I left at 10:15 and went over to Grace's hair braiding in Prince George's county where they are more professional and respect the customer's time. Although this place was closer to my house, they will never be seeing me again. There are too many braiders in town for people to be this unprofessional.
