Fatou African Hair Braiding

Fatou is an amazing stylist! My apportionment was early; she was on time, professional, and fast. Her prices are fair, too. I would always recommend her!

I don’t know what these other reviewers are talking about but this place is a hot mess. I called for an appointment for 11am, the lady I spoke with said she was available. I arrived at 10:50am and no one was there. I waited in my car 11am, nobody, 11:15 nobody, I called the number at 11:20 and she said she’s on her way. She arrived at 11:40 am looking like she just crawled out the grave. All I wanted was 2 jumbo cornrows. My hair was in a bun and she looked at me and said , “Yiu have to take your hair down, I charge to do it!” So I took my hair out of the bun she tried to comb my hair with a rat tail comb. She did one cornrow, my blind deaf 90 year grandmother could have done a better job. I told her to forget it this is not working and I left. Her attitude sucks and is unprofessio

I braid my own hair but visited this shop to have them taken out. The stylist was polite, efficient, and professional. There are also cute ethnic dresses sold in the shop, I bought two and will return for both services.

I had a horrible experience at Afro Touch down the road and was recommended last minute here! Best experience ever! I’ll always book with Fatou! I’ve gotten so many compliments and told so many people about this place as well. Clean, professional, fast, and friendly! Can’t wait till my next visit!

Tou Tou.. The owners daughter, did an impeccable job on my hair. She was fast, and the braids were small and neat, just as I asked. The only downfall is... she didn't braid my hair to its ends. I thought that she was just clipping the stray/dead hairs, that couldn't be braided. When the process of taking my hair down began, I didn't use scissors. I simply unbraided & unknotted every braid. I can see where she cut my hair, as she seemed to get tired of braiding to the ends. She cut all of my hair out! I DO NOT RECOMMEND FATOU'S BRAIDING SHOP!! I'd rather have my hair, than to have cuteness. Again it was cute, and quick (4 hours to be exact.. For micro-braids).. But now, my hair is all uneven and short in many different places.
