Fatou African Hair Braiding

Would NOT recommend. I found this shop from a tiktok post. The best selling point for me was the walk-in service and that the hair would be included. I got there at 10am. The style I wanted I had to provide my own hair. I was told what store was near and what type hair to get. I showed her the style I wanted, she quoted a price of 350. Everything from that point was horrible. The braiders were snatching from both sides. On their phones loud in my ear. No communication with client. Towards the end I was told I needed more hair so I went with my hair unfinished back to the hair supply store. That's when I saw how bad my hair was. HORRIBLE!!! Speaking from my experience. If I knew the braiders name, I would list it. (She was a tall older lady with glasses) She did a bad job on my daughter’s two goodness braids. The braider made my child’s hair look frizzy and jam was packed on, till the point my child’s hair started to look dirty. She sat my child under the dryer and it wasn’t even drying her hair, because she needed to be propped up. When I informed the shop manager I didn’t like the end results she stated, “ I don’t see anything wrong with it.” Then went on to tell me, I should have said I didn’t like it before she finished. The service was very quick and efficient. I walked in at 12 and was done by 5. I love my hair and will continue to come here, thank you so much.

I advice no one especially new people to sit it Gomaz Mandela chair . She comes off nice but if manipulative. She can not do passion twist. Pictures of how she did my hair is below . Dealing with her was a nightmare that I’ve never experienced with anyone that has done my hair . Before we started I ask can she do passion twist and if I had the right hair and she said yes! She also told me that it would take 4 to 5 hours but it turned into 12 hours.
