Fatou African Hair Braiding

Incredible rude and rough on customer’s scalp pulling too hard and pushing their heads. Unprofessional service! Avoid them.

Came in the store and asked the owner how much she charged for passion twist. She told me $120 and to go and purchase the hair next door at the beauty supply. I go to the beauty supply and ask for 22 inches unfortunately they didn’t have the color I wanted so I settled for the same length of my hair which is 18 inches. I go back to the braiding salon and waited an additional 20 minutes for my turn. Once seated and I took my natural hair down from a bun. I hear them talking a different language, the owner Farouk comes to me and says I didn’t know your hair was that longer, the price is higher ($160). I informed her ma’am this is your business your suppose to ask all questions and look at the hair before setting a price. Well that didn’t go well her voice elevated to her native language and

First thing first I was hesitant because of the reviews but people really make they own experience and it unfortunately can ruin it but anyways I decided to walk in and get six zig zag braids . It came out soooooo good ‘! Smh ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥳🥳🥳🥳 and Fatou is so sweet ! I’ll be coming back. I had a good experience honestly

Fair pricing! Great service! I was initially concerned about trying out a new place but I am super happy with the quality. Three weeks later and my hair still looks amazing. My daughter went the following week and she has also been getting so many compliments on the neatness of the braids.

I love my braids. Fatou always understands the assignment and she gives the best price in Brooklyn and in Queens.
