Fatima Hair Braiding

Absolutely unacceptable experience. I booked an appointment for braids and was told my hair would be washed for extra $20. When I arrived, My hair was only rinsed once, with no conditioner used, and my scalp was still dirty. When I calmly brought this up, the stylist became hostile and said she agreed to wash my hair, not my scalp, and told me that if I wanted my scalp clean, I should have done it myself—as if I wasn’t paying for a wash service. She then complained about me in her native language right in front of me. While the braids may be good, the customer service and overall experience were nasty, unprofessional, and disrespectful. I felt extremely uncomfortable and left without getting my hair done. I would not recommend this salon.

From scheduling to hair braiding, the overall experience was great! Very communicative, responsive, and thoughtful. I decided to get my boho braids done at 38 weeks (crazy I know) but Fatima and her employees got me in and out! I will definitely make another visit 😊

hands down one of the best shops on memorial drive. Ms. Kia is my personal stylist and has been for years. don’t believe some of these bad reviews on here i have been coming here for years with my family. these are hard-working ladies, that will give you respect and expect respect in return. I have witness them even offering Free hairstyle to a woman that didn’t have Enough money to pay for her daughter-at that shop.

They been doing my braids forever! I love this place! They fast, nice, and they make sure you get out the shop looking really good!

Don’t go to this shop . They made my edges come out , wanted to charge me $10 to wash my own hair . And told me they don’t like Americans any way after I didn’t have cash. Paid her money threw zelle and she didn’t have her email set up to receive the money and asked me to cancel the payment and pay her cash . I told her I didn’t have cash she told me don’t worry about it. A month later she started calling threatening me. They all have a thing against Americans (black). Take your dollar somewhere else
