Fantastic Sams Cut & Color

I was honestly having a mini crisis about my damaged ends and was desperately looking for a salon with a same-day appointment. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, just a simple haircut. Nora welcomed me with such a positive attitude even though it was already late in the day. I was a little nervous because my hair ended up shorter than I’d ever had it before, but I absolutely love it! My hair feels so much healthier and lighter now. Plus, I didn’t have to spend a lot of money on a haircut, which was a nice surprise. I’m so happy I found this place and will definitely be coming back! P.S. The location on Google Maps seems to be slightly off — the salon is actually right next to Journeys.

I came in with very long hair that was past my waist and was extremely clear about how much I was comfortable having cut. I physically showed the stylist the maximum length I was okay with losing at the longest point, and she verbally confirmed that she understood. The agreement was that no more than four inches would be cut, which the stylist also stated was all that was needed to remove split ends. The stylist did mention that she would need to bring the front pieces up slightly to help blend and taper from the bangs. I understood and agreed to this with the clear understanding that she would leave my hair as long as possible overall. Unfortunately, the haircut became uneven. I saw Mrs Jane. I’m absolutely tickled with my cut. Premade the appointment. I have naturally curly thick hair that’s cut into a modern pixie cut. She absolutely did a perfect job. The cut was perfect and she thinned it perfectly. She has naturally curly hair and has been cutting hair for over 40 years. She knows her stuff. Check her out because you will not be disappointed. I'm so upset about my hair cut today I showed the lady 6 different picture of the same style to make sure she knew what I wanted then explained in detail that I wanted it just below my chin make it fluffy in the back because I have thick hair. She said no problem and since I have glasses I can't see while she was cutting and she when wayyyy to short my hair ending a good but ABOVE my chin and my hair in the back doesn't look textured but just really dense and my whole head is similar to Dora's hair and I'm so disappointed. There was really no reason to even tell the lady what she did because what can you do when it cut wayy above what you wanted there is no fixing it. I'm not sure who the lady is but she is an older lady with a little bit longer shoulder length hair with glasses.
