Famous Nails 29th

I went in for a manicure with dip polish. Love the color, didn’t love another person standing over me clearly talking about the previous salon I went to. Didn’t enjoy shoving my hands in a tiny container with next to no acetone to remove previous color, leaving indentations on my hands. And definitely did not enjoy having every one of my fingers grinded on to the point they were inflamed or bleeding. I will not be going back.

Ben did a wonderful job on my dip manicure; he was kind and thorough. The atmosphere is super comfortable and clean, I definitely recommend Famous nails in Lincoln Heights to everyone!

Going into Famous Nails on 29'th street is like taking a mini vacation. Mai always takes care of this 90 y/o lady..She helps me put my shoes back on & takes my arm to get up & down off the chair. I have been to many different nail salons over the years & have found that Mai & Famous Nails is the absolute best.

This might be the worst application of acrylic nails I’ve ever seen. The acrylic is thick and uneven, globs of acrylic n the sides of my fingers, the paint was uneven and partially separated/came off, there are hairs in the paint. All that AND the shape want finished off so they are sharp. I’ll be spending the evening soaking my hands trying to get this off. Absolutely not worth the $120 for this and a basic pedicure!!!
