Famous Barbershop

Visited this Famous Barbershop on Hwy 27 Haines city / Davenport area as I wanted a long overdue haircut. This place has like 11 chairs and barbers and was quite happy I could just walk in, and there was an available barber who greeted me and immediately invited to take a seat in his barber chair. He's the one in the last chair on the left, and unlike another review I read on Google, this is a good barber and/or he's acquired lots of experience ! I am a snowbird who is new to the area, and an active ++60 year old with short hair (somewhat like Bryan Adams, the singer) and had the pleasure to meet Angel, a very young man who took a barber course 1 year ago and decided to take this trade course and be in business for himself. Barber had not the skills necessary to cut kids straight hair… my son was very disappointed. The barber is a young man, the chair where my son was attended is at the back on the left side. My son ended up with a mushroom cut, very uneven on the sides without a proper fade. Below what we expected as my son has straight hair.

First time at this location, very awesome atmosphere, Carlos one of the best barbers in town has been my barber for quite some time.

Unfortunately I will not be returning hear me out...came here on Tuesday and saw the sign $14 for seniors on wed...I asked the old guy I believe owner or manager I'm 62 is that ok for the special he said yes....cool came the next day the Panamanian barber took me I told him I'm 62 he said you have to be 65 I told him I spoke to the old man the day before he says let me go and ask . . Comes back says sorry your right is 62....told him I want skin on the sides guy was very friendly and good barber he finished gave him a $20 and left....came back today stupid me didn't say nothing to a different barber told him skin on sides nothing on top ....took him 10 minutes tops...I get up give him a $20 and walk out...he follows me outside and tells me is $30 ...I said I'm a senior he asks me how old a
