Nice quiet place with an old school barber atmosphere, my 6yr old son liked his cut and was very happy with the lollipop he received for being a well behaved customer. Pricing was very reasonable and the staff super polite. We will be back.

Nancy & Dave are great. I started using Family Barber because they make appointments. This is so much more convenient than other barbers where you wait 20-40 minutes. Nancy and Dave do a great job too, they're very thorough. My teen boys go there too.

This place is like no place you've ever gone before! I recommend calling ahead for an appointment because the owner who was the first woman who owned a barber shop in Connecticut cut hair fantastically no matter what style you were looking for Nancy who is the owner will make you always look fabulous I must go to does Hidden Gem in Plainville. She is been around as long as I can remember and I will trust no one else when it comes to my hair and you shouldn't either five stars all the way!

Horrible people there. I walked in and said “Hello” and was not greeted at all by a woman that was cutting hair and a man sitting on a stool. The guy comes up to me after I took a seat at the waiting area and said “ by appointment only” , he said nothing else and turned his back on me. I just got up and left. These 2 Addams family rejects are the worst customer service at a barber shop I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. They looked so bitter
