Faded University Barber College

Started here September of 2024 and I start at my first shop first week of 2026! In just over a year my dreams turned into reality! The students there are considered family and the best school to go to pursue a career in barbering. I went to another barber school prior and the difference is night and day. Faded university helped me learn so much and helped me pass both my barber exams on the first try. 10/10 highly recommend!

This is the best school hands down, no competition. Passed both licensing test first try all because of this school. I came to school here thinking I knew how to cut but Marquise showed me what it meant to be a barber and how to do every fundamental in the barber industry!

What people need to keep in mind is this is a school. These kids are learning so you have to be patient. I enjoy the service I receive each time I go. Feels good to be part of the learning process and in so many ways you’re giving back to the community. The instructor is very knowledgeable and always takes the time to come out and check on the students. The students are very professional and they encourage one another, which is great to see.

Faded University, was more than just a place to learn how to cut hair—it was a place where I truly grew as a barber. When I first walked in as a student, I had no idea how much I would learn, not just about cutting hair, but about the entire barbering business. Quise, the instructor, really made the difference. He knew his stuff when it came to every hair texture, teaching us how to tackle everything from tight curls to straight styles. But it wasn’t just about the technical skills. Quise also focused a lot on the business side of things—how to manage clients, build your reputation, and run a shop. My dad likes to stop in here for a quick haircut and shave. He’s 91, and won’t go anywhere else. They always treat him great and we’ll keep coming back. Thanks!
