I booked a first time, last minute appointment with Teri for a hair cut. She was so welcoming and warm! I think I got the best cut I have ever had. I know that sounds like "pie in the sky" but I am serious. I feel great about my hair, which usually doesn't happen right after a cut. I even got a compliment on my hair from a stranger. Teri is an incredibly talented stylist and a great conversationalist as well. I really can't say enough good things. I am looking forward to my next appointment with Teri.

Took my daughter here to get her ears pierced. Teri was AMAZING!! She made us feel relaxed and was absolutely phenomenal with my daughter. She made her feel relaxed, calm, and brave for her 1st set of earrings. I really can't say enough great things about Teri. Shop was clean, well organized, and spacious. I 110% recommend going here for traditional ears piercings.

I never write reviews, but my experience at Expectations Salon was so awful that I couldn’t stay silent. I’ve had my fair share of nail services, but this was hands down the worst. The irony of the name “Expectations” Salon is almost laughable because it completely failed to meet even the most basic expectations. Teri, the nail tech, seemed nice enough, but that didn’t make up for the poor quality of the service. She actually had me file off the fill from my own nails while she worked on my toes! I was shocked—I’ve never been asked to do part of the service myself at a professional salon. Isn’t that what I’m paying for? To make matters worse, after essentially doing part of the work myself, I was charged a whopping $70. The website made the place seem professional and was part of the app

Pictured first are my eyebrows normally after first getting them done… the other pictures are after leaving Expectations Salon today. Worst experience I have ever had. I told her I just needed them CLEANED UP. She told me I was all cleaned up and I saw myself and instantly started crying. She told me “in her training this is what mapped out eyebrows look like.” I have been getting my eyebrows done since I was 12 and I know how they should be aligned and this is not it. They are uneven, extremely spread out… one is slanted and one is straight up. She also plucked a chunk out. She told me that she took a minimal amount of hair off…. My eyebrows also are starting to scab over because of the amount of wax she used. All of this to say, do not get your eyebrows done here. Extremely upset.

I got my haircut with Terri and can’t rave about her enough! She is so good at making her customers feel comfortable and right at home. The haircut I received is exactly what I asked for and wanted. I haven’t gotten my haircut in over a year, and I wanted to do something a little out of my comfort zone by cutting it shoulder length, since it is usually down to my belly button. She framed my face beautifully and made me feel like a new woman! I cannot wait to go back and see her in a few months to get it trimmed again! I 100% recommend Expectations Salon for anyone in the area looking for a fresh haircut!
