Evy Hair Braiding

I asked for waist length braids and they gave me beyond butt length hair. I had to go home a cut the extra length off. The stylist didn’t even center my hair correctly, where the center of my head is there are literal braids running down. Also they tighten my hair to damn much. I have a high pain tolerance so I didn’t really feel it like that but when I looked in the mirror I saw strains of my hair being pulled so much that one little tug can rip it out and cause hair retention. For $200 I was expecting amazing results but I didn’t. Respectfully I’m never coming back here.

I got some boho braids and they are so bomb definitely will be back. The shop is not crowded with people, it’s clean and well kept and the owner is so friendly. Also the lady that did my hair was very nice as well even gave her a hug at the end because of how satisfied I was!!!

I love getting my hair braided here. Prices are fair. The shop is clean. The ladies are kind and friendly. Great atmosphere. You can schedule or walk in.

Finally catching up on writing this review. I know it’s been like 2 years! 😄🥴 Hawa, offered a consultation two weeks before my service. She listened closely to my desired outcome for micro-Afro twist and delivered not only the style I desired, but also the cleanest, most pleasant and professional African shop experience in Philly region. Clean, professional and fast, prices are fair. Their hair they use it itchy, but once washed, is no problem! I will definitely be returning ! Pic was taken almost 6 weeks after installation
