The haircut and color were beautiful. I had to have corrective color done, and it came out fabulous. I went there because I have asthma and bad allergies. I am super sensitive to any synthetic smells. The air was much more tolerable than in a regular salon and they seemed really conscious of people's allergies. The products used to highlight and dye had no odor. However, the shampoo and possibly detangler were awful. I went on Thursday; it is now Saturday night. I have washed my hair 4 times with clarifying shampoo, and the smell is still there. I even did an apple cider vinegar/water rinse in between washings. I have been wearing my hair in a ponytail because I can smell it less. My nose, throat, and lungs are so irritated still. If I get up the nerve to go again, I will bring my own unsc

Everlastings Organic Hair Salon in Guilford CT is the most lovely place I have ever gone to take care of my hair. Andrea and Amy are so sweet, and they are such a kind, caring, and magical team. They always make me feel special. I feel as though I have spent a little time at a peaceful spa with dear friends every time I go. I am only able to use all natural products, and their products smell lovely and are such nice quality. It's so wonderful to go to a healthy, safe place for hair care. The best hair salon experience I’ve ever had! Arlene and her staff are warm, welcoming and attentive. The salon itself is a labor of love—beautifully decorated and relaxing. Arlene achieved a perfect, natural hair color for my (formerly gray) hair without any harsh chemicals. This is the organic hair coloring experience I’ve searched for. I left feeling relaxed, 100% happy with the results, and years younger! I’m happy to give Everlastings the highest of recommendations for a beautiful and healthy alternative for hair/skin needs.

When I arrived, I felt as though I was walking into a fairytale scene since the salon is in the carriage house behind a castle! My experience began with Amy, who is so sweet, giving me a tour . Everyone was wonderful and they truly listened to me when I explained what I was looking for in a haircut and color. I immediately trusted Arlene and Mary during my consultation and I was not disappointed. I left with a very natural looking color that Mary expertly balayaged. I was also impressed by the beautiful teamwork that was so evident in the way Mary and Arlene figured out the best way to cut my hair. I truly appreciated that they were mindful of the way my hair naturally falls and cut/styled it accordingly. It was a truly wonderful experience right down to the eyelash tinting!
