Dominique has been cutting my hair for years and is the reason I’m able to love and care for my curls the way I do. She is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate when it comes to working with her curly-haired clients. I’ve had the chance to see many of her clients in passing, and while all our curls are unique—scattered across the curl spectrum—we all seem to share a sense of admiration and appreciation for her expertise. I came in for a shaping cut with the goal of keeping my long hair, and while the final length ended up shorter than I anticipated, I can’t deny that the cut itself was well-executed and Dom was kind, informative, and clearly skilled in working with curls. She also took time to teach me a lot about my hair and how to care for it, which I really appreciated. I felt cared for during the appointment, and while it wasn’t quite what I expected length-wise, the shape is beautiful and the experience overall was very positive. Thank you Dom for your time, generosity, and talent. ✨

I can't say enough positive things about our experience at Esther's Place. It was so refreshing to walk into a salon and see nothing but curly hair. My daughter previously had a bad haircut experience at a different salon and has been extremely hesitant to get her hair cut again. Dom was so kind and patient with her. She loved it so much that she asked if she could go every month! She gave me some great recommendations for different styling and clarifying products as well as frequency of washing her hair specifically. My daughter is on the books for a follow-up and I just booked myself a curly cut as well! Thanks again for providing such a welcoming place for our community!

Dom is a curly hair goddess. She has taught me so much about my curls and has helped me make them come to life. I can't say enough about her warmth, energy, patience, knowledge and ability to teach. I only trust her with my curls. Dom is the best period.
