I’ve been coming here for a year now so I can give my full review! I make an appointment at the beginning of every month and they already know me so when I arrive, they already know I get the gelx medium almond shape. All the employees here are all very nice and super helpful, especially when it comes to the crazy inspo designs I bring into the shop. Yes, the designs I choose are intricate and require a lot of time but they always execute and I always get a ton of compliments on my nails all month long. They have two locations and theyre both phenomenal and super clean. Highly recommend Essence Nail Studio, both in Irvine!!

I recently visited Essence Nail Salon in Irvine and had such a great experience. I booked a Gel X set and I’m honestly obsessed with how they turned out. The shaping is super clean, the length is exactly what I asked for, and the attention to detail really stood out. They took their time making sure everything looked balanced and flawless, which I really appreciated. Nothing felt rushed. The salon itself is calm, clean, and has a relaxing, elevated vibe. It felt like a true self-care moment rather than just a quick nail appointment. If you’re in the Irvine area and looking for a quality Gel X set with a luxe feel, I would definitely recommend checking them out. I’ll absolutely be back.

I had a wonderful experience at Essence Nail Studio! Kim did my Luminary manicure and it came out beautiful — very clean, natural looking, and perfectly shaped. Holly did my pedicure and was so gentle and thorough. The whole experience was relaxing and the salon is very clean and professional. Highly recommend Kim and Holly! I’ll definitely be back.

At the beginning, I showed the nail technician a photo of the design I wanted. She barely looked at it and casually said, “Yes, we can do it.” I also confirmed the price in advance, so everything seemed clear before starting. However, once she began, she completely ignored my design and painted my entire set solid pink, even though my design had nothing to do with pink at all. After finishing, she confidently told me, “This is the color you wanted.” When I pointed out that this was completely wrong, she suddenly said that the design could not be done. Then several other people came over and repeated the same thing, and I was told to remove everything that had already been done. Because of this, my nails were removed twice, which caused my natural nails to become very thin and damaged. T
