Essence Nail Spa

Went for a gel manicure and pedicure on Sunday and won’t go back. This was my second time there and while the first trip was fine, mediocre at best, this one was pretty bad. My very simple gel pedicure took over an hour because my tech had to redo a few of my toes 3x. She kept scratching the polish off but never told me why. I had my 9 year old with me who had finished her gel pedicure and manicure before I finished my pedicure. Then, the tech was not understanding my ask for a design and even after I showed her pictures of a script letter “S”, this is what I got. My manicure was so rushed and my tech was focused on everything else happening around us. Super disappointed. See pictures of “S”, cut on my finger, and unimpressive overall job.

Two stars because the staff was nice. I went in for gel pedi & mani yesterday that ended up being $140. All I received was a color service. This was not a proper service with no massage and no cuticle cutting. I asked to have my cuticles done on my toes as I noticed it was not performed and all she did was file them?? Service was speedy lol

Bingo did an amazing job !! First time here, not only was he friendly but quick service. I got a full set with tiny fingernails - not an easy task for some and he killed it !! I asked for a flower design but said he could do whatever he wanted. He made it super cute!! Very affordable and all the staff were super friendly and seemed to enjoy their jobs. 10/10 recommend!!

Essence has been my go-to nail salon for the past several years! The staff is always attentive but not overbearing. I've had both regular mani/pedis and gel mani/pedis here, and they always look great. Prices are very reasonable, and I always feel like I've gotten my money's worth.

I was visiting a friend out of town and we tried this salon. The people are kind but I was not satisfied with my service. My pedicure was nice but the French paint job I asked for was not of the quality I like. They were chunky and bulky looking. She got polish on my foot and didn’t wipe it off (it got cured on my foot and I had to soak it off at home). I got my nails done the same way. The French tips were chunky and blocky looking as well. I also spend the rest of my evening picking acrylic off the sides of my fingers. My cuticles were raw and sore from the drilling. I ended up fixing my own nails.
