This is the main and biggest parking lot area for Esopus Bend Nature Preserve. and is located at the end of a dead end road via a short driveway into the Preserve. The trail starts here for the Preserve. There is a kiosk with a trail map. The preserve is open dawn to dusk. Signage at the kiosk has which trails are closed or flooded. Some areas are off limits to dogs. No bathrooms
