I've been coming to Tom since 2021 during the pandemic. He can speak some English and Vietnamese but is more fluent in Chinese/Cantonese. He has been cutting hair for over 30 years. I've never left unhappy after a haircut or coloring visit. The prices have gradually gone up for a haircut but he has been consistent with the style that I want. Hairwashing before the cut is always included and for men a hairwash is done after before styling. My hair doesn't get washed after the cut if I'm not getting it colored. He usually styles it after for a women's cut.

My first stylist here was a guy and he did a great job with dying my hair (highlights and full head color). The second one was May and she's been cutting my hair the past couple of times and they've been amazing! She completely understands what my hair and bangs need (sometimes the volume and structure confuse other stylists). And she doesn't complain about my hair volume like a lot of other places do, they're clean and professional.

the perm the lady gave me was so out of place and not what i showed in the photo. she cut it too too short after repeatedly saying to not cut it to short. i’m not sure if there is some kind of language barrier or something but obviously she didn’t understand me. i genuinely dont know how you can mess up with a full set of hair. i gave them 6 inches of hair to work with and all the photos to reference off of and yet they couldn’t give the correct curls nor curl all of my hair. some curls faded away after the wash, with the ends wavy and roots straight. not only that but the bangs are BARELY to my eyebrows which i said specifically NOT TO CUT SHORT. i thought they should perm first then cut so they can see how much to really cut. i have events in2 days and my hair cannot be fixed by than i w

Quality of service can vary significantly from one stylists to another, as at most salons. May, however, is exceptional. My entire family, including discriminating teenage daughters, all enjoy her considerable skills and excellent attitude. Her prices are also quite reasonable.
