I’ve been with Serpil at Empire Hair Salon for close to 20 years. It took years for me to find someone who understands the texture of my hair, and now I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Throughout all these years, she’s worked with me - giving me style and color ideas - and her work ALWAYS draws complements. She understands how to take all things into consideration - your hair type, facial frame, skin coloring, and style preferences - and make you look and feel amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!!!

I’ve been going to Empire Hair Salon and Spa for many, many years. One of the things I most appreciate about Serpil and Sinan is their honesty: if they think a look you’re going for isn’t right, they’ll say so. They are, after all, experts in their field. Their goal is to keep your hair happy and healthy! They both keep up-to-date on popular trends and the newest techniques, equipment, and hair care products. They offer excellent advice and suggestions, and I totally trust their professional judgment! In my experience, they create a welcoming environment, doing their best to accommodate all of their clients, while at the same time ensuring that each person leaves their salon feeling confident and good about themselves. I seriously cannot recommend them enough!

Much better haircut than chain salons. Comfortable, friendly atmosphere. They will explain what they recommend and why.

In response to the bad review. I was there at the time of the her appointment. None of what is being said is true. I have been a client there for years. They were very accommodating to this young lady and witnessed no hostility or rudeness. I believe that they both went above and beyond on the recommendations and advice they gave. From my experience there timing for a haircut is pretty spot on! My haircut takes 15-20 minutes. A normal haircut price is $45 and this is what I get charged for a haircut so a hearing them charge $20 for the haircut inexpensive and nice of them. This review really shouldn't reflect who this mother and son salon is. I was horrified when I saw this review and felt i should speak up on their behalf.

Let me tell you, I would rate them a 10 if possible. I drive by one day and saw a walk in sign. I waited a few days and googled their reviews. After seeing many positive reactions, I decided to do just that, walk in and observe, mind you, this was a Saturday afternoon around 2pm I think. What I observed when I walked in was Ms. Surple the owner of the hair salon crafting a wonderful cut on a woman with beautiful purple hair. I had to comment how beautiful it was! Ms. Surple was also dying her own hair the same magenta purple whilst crafting her customers style. Watching Surple cut hair with a confidence that most other stylists do not have. She knew exactly what she was doing and her clients hair came out perfect. I was impressed and asked her if she had the time to take me and my hair
