I had a horrible experience during my manicure and pedicure. I waited over 40 minutes just to get started. The technician, Tru, completely messed up both services. He cut my cuticles so badly that I was bleeding, and he had to redo my manicure from scratch because the first attempt looked terrible. Even after redoing it, my hands were left red and irritated from the nail polish. On top of that, Tru never apologized. Instead, he joked about the situation and even tried to blame me for his mistakes. This was unprofessional, painful, and extremely disappointing. I will not be coming back and do not recommend this place to anyone — especially not with Tru.

I am giving three stars because they are all so nice, get you in within a timely manner, and are fairly priced. With that said, I’ve gone here about 4 times in the last year and each time, I find flaws but have gone back because of the positives mentioned above. This time specifically, however, the tech completely forgot to paint one of my pinky toe nails and did not ensure he understood the design I wanted for my fingernails. If you go, make sure you get a tech that’s right for you.

Truly the worst nail experience I've ever had. I had an appointment and my sister and I were sitting for 20 min before they started taking the gel off of my nails. They also took 2 walk ins after we were sitting down and hadn't had our manicures started. I had the foils on for 30 min and had to take them off myself. I was then rudely questioned by the nail tech as to why I took her foils off. We both decided to end the service after gel removal due to the fact that I had been sitting there for 45min and didn't appreciate the service we were receiving. If you value your time and the quality of service you're receiving, do not go here. They don't care unless you're a regular even if you do take the time to make an appointment.

The place is beautiful, but it was not clean. They don’t line their pedicure tubs, the pedicure chairs were heavily stained, and when I was sent to wash my hands in the sink there were dirty tools just sitting inside. They did appear to be understaffed, but if that’s the case, they should be taking less appointments/walk-ins. The woman who worked on me was not consistent in how she was providing my service. She soaked one of my hands but not the other and the paint on my toes was uneven. As a black woman walking into a predominantly white establishment in a predominantly white neighborhood, there’s always that small question in the back of my mind that wonders if the service I’m receiving is because of the way that I look. Emme does not honor appointments so do not take your valuable time to make one. Tgey take walk ins ahead of appointments. If you do not have hours to wait go elsewhere.
