Emi's Hair Braiding

I asked for 2 cornrows and the lady let her apprentice serve me, encouraging the shoddy work she was doing on my hair. All while continually increasing the price, that's crazy how shameless people can be

I was suppose to get me hair done somewhere else and decided to give this place a try because it was closer. What a huge mistake. Where do I begin. Both their work and the environment is beyond horrible. I went to use the bathroom they were out of toilet tissue with no replacement in sight. Had to use it in the dark because the light don’t work. They were not willing to keep the heat on so I sat in the cold for 6 hours getting micro braids. The hair was not included so I had to spend &50 for braiding hair and pay them $140 for doing my hair even though their flyer clearly states micros starting at $80. I must have two heads to be charged double the starting price. Not to mention I had my hair shampooed and the water didn’t work either. They filled a jug of water to wash my hair with. I’m s

I have been coming here for years and they always do my hair the way I want it done. They treat me like family and I trust them to do my hair every time. Thank you Emi for always making me feel beautiful ❤️I truly appreciate it 😊

I wish I could give less stars. Went to the shop and showed them a picture of what I wanted. The owner sent me to her other shop to get it done. I originally wanted five braids with four thin ones. but ended up with twelve. My braids looked nothing like the picture. The stylist was very nice, but I think that was because she didn’t know what she was doing. I look like a damn light bulb! I will not be back there....unacceptable!

I called the day before to make an appointment and was told the shop opens at 9. At 915 i was still waiting for someone to show up. She finally arrived at 945. The braids i got was nothing like the picture i showed her. And the braids were EXTREMELY too tight! I ended up taking them out the next day.
