Eminence Barber Academy

I just graduated from this school and my experience was everything I could ask for. I was part of the evening class. Fern was my instructor. He was attentive to us as students and he truly cares for his students. In the evening class I was on average getting 2-3 walk ins a week. From what I hear from others that went to other schools 2-3 walk ins a week is great. Fern is very patient and takes time to explain and lay everything out for us to succeed. Thank you fern and eminence students for helping to make my experience as a student such a wonderful one.

A friend told me about this barbershop. Side note: the place is right next to brewery, how awesome is that! The shop was extremely convenient, they take card (they charge $1 more for card use) and cash. I came here the day before Thanksgiving. I brought two buddies and we were seated right away. I asked for a basic cut and wasn't disappointed. They normally charge $7 but they had a $5 special this month (call and ask about discounts). You cannot beat this price. If you're like me, you might be skeptical coming to a school for a cut. Even though the students primarily do the cuts, the teachers are present for any assistance. All in all, the price and convenience make this place a gem.

I got my haircut here and it came out just like I've always had it. Just because they're students only helps them to perfect their craft with the instructor but their side. Check out out!

One of the instructors that went by the name Jordan was very unprofessional, and extremely rude to his student who was just simply asking questions on how to properly cut my hair. He made me feel uncomfortable and I asked for a new instructor. After that he gave me bad looks and paced back and forth in front of me while I was getting a hair cut, and just ruined my experience overall. I would give it one star, but the other instructor was much more professional, and the student who gave me a haircut did a great job.

So sad that my bf has been going to there for a minute, and your teacher or how ever you call them maybe an instructor by the name of loyalty monty and to be quite honest I know that’s not his real name but I’m sure you guys can figure it out, he is so rude like he acted like he didn’t even want to help my bf by finding someone to cut his hair, maybe he should have a better attitude when people go wether for whatever reason he doesn’t like them he better at least put on a smile! It’s a school where people from all over go! If he doesn’t like someone then maybe he shouldn’t be there, because usually barbers like everybody I’m just saying! To the students keep up your good work
