I moved to Buffalo this year and have been searching for a salon that has a feeling of being down-to-earth, an artist that is friendly and has high quality hair cuts! This salon exceeded my expectations. Walking in felt like I was entering more of a spa, as opposed to a hair salon. It has a very "homey" feel to it, and Mercedes (my stylist) made me feel just like that. It's like she welcomed me into her home. ☺️ She is very friendly, warm + kind hearted, and interpersonal. She provided me tea, snacks, and memorable conversations. Not only just her, but everyone that works there has a similar vibe and friendliness to them. They're all incredibly sweet and involved. I have been searching for a new hair stylist since a traumatic hair color over the summer. I stumbled up Mercedes and instantly felt like she was the one. I reached out to book an appointment in October but she had no availability. I was put on a wait list and within 2 weeks I was given an appointment time. Unfortunately, I could not take the appt due to existing plans. I knew she would be worth the wait so I scheduled for December. I had my first appointment with her last night, I see why she books so far out. Her work is phenomenal. She reached out days before the appointment to get an idea of what I wanted and asked questions about my hair. Ive never had a hair stylist take the time to do this. I found Mercedes on Instagram and I am so very glad that I did! My first impression of Elysian was excellent. Their website is welcoming and provides details about the stylists to help you choose who might be the best fit for you. Scheduling was easy and I really liked the questionnaire about your hair and your hair goals. My communication with Mercedes prior to my appointment was great! I had a very specific goal in mind and she took the time to understand what I wanted and then achieved it. I am obsessed with my hair and have received so many compliments! Mercedes was great to chat with and did such an incredible job! She even texted me days after my appointment to provide a conditioner recommendation!

This was my first visit, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! Mercedes did an amazing job cutting my hair, and Jackie nailed the highlights—I’m obsessed with the results. The environment is wonderful—nice, welcoming, and attentive. They truly make sure you love the outcome. Highly recommend!

I am not from Buffalo and I had been driving back and forth from my hometown to get my hair done. I was so scared to trust someone new with my hair! This salon met all my expectations and even exceeded them. The pricing is so reasonable and makes it possible for me to get touch-ups whenever I need instead of having to save up. The environment is very calm and serene, it is so relaxing in the salon and bright no matter what time it is. I also love the hairdressers. They are very talented and so fun to talk to while they absolutely perfect my hair! I am so happy I found this place and highly recommend to anyone with any hair needs.
