Elsa African Hair Braiding

I come here from time to time. This time was the worsy. No heat, it was freezing and the stylist put so much hair into each braid that it hurt to even get my shirt off. I tried replacing some of the braids to make it less full. Smh I showed them a picture and all. She started from the back so I didn’t realize it until it was almost done. She dipped the hair so sloppy, some aren’t dipped at all. I tipped her bc she was tired . Taking it out bc my hair is ripping out

I see these reviews about this salon having roaches and mice. However I didn’t see anything. I brought my sister here to do her braids and the Braider was nice actually. I would say the shop could use an upgrade and they should learn the other modern styles that’s out in today’s time. Other than that I had a good experience and my sister love them.

I came here years ago with an appointment scheduled. Walked in wasn’t greeted or anything just stares! So I said hello I have an app they said we can’t service you mind you it was 2 Empty chairs! Okay fast forward to 2025 I called adamas African hair braiding that is right across the street from Elsa’s! They are related! So Adama said oh my hair to short she can’t braid it mind you I just took out conrows! So after she said no she called Elsa told me to come over there I sit in the chair for about 5 mins nobody touched my head yet! They just talking. So another 2 mins passed some lady feels my head and said oh it’s to short we can’t braid it! Wasted my time both ladies! So I go back to adama she said oh go back they can braid it! Noooo why would i do that? Idk if it’s because my skin is l

I went to them yesterday and got my hair done. It was a lot of roaches in their hair salon when I told the lady that was doing my hair there go roaches she was on the phone with somebody and then she look at the roaches then look at me then start braiding my hair tight and then start talking about me to people on the phone and the people in the hair salon so I will not be going there anymore because they don’t have any respect and they got roaches

Do not dare get into this salon. I promise, you will come out bleeding. They are very hostile and grossly disrespectful. They size you up, never tell you their price, half way into the hair or when it's all done, they give you ridiculous price and are ready to collectively fight you. Do not be enticed by their smile, when you are done, you will understand . They virtually force you to pay any amount they mention and most people pay to avoid embarrassment.
