Elliot’s Barbershop

Really sad to have moved away, because Jared is absolutely awesome. First place I was able to find that took "skin fade" literally. So consistent, literally exact same perfect cut every time. The shop is also really nice. The other barbers never cut me but were always super friendly and conversational. I would have to say it's one of the absolute best shops in the Pittsburgh area, and if it wasn't an hour and a half away I'd still be there every 2-3 weeks.

First time at Elliot's today and Jared was awesome! I really appreciated how he took his time and made sure he understood what I was looking for. It's also a clean shop with a great, chill vibe. Online booking also made things easy. If you're out in the Moon/Robinson area and you feel like you struggle to find a barber who can do it all, definitely check out Elliot's.

Environment: Clean and inviting Staff: Friendly and respectful Haircuts: Above average Full service shave: asymmetrical trim of beard with multiple razor passes made on neck without reapplying shave lather. This resulted in irritation and cuts. I don’t expect perfection, but for a $70 “Deluxe Package” my expectations are high. As stated, the haircut was professionally done, but when it came to the shave I was underwhelmed with the urgency in which it was done and obviously the skill performed. Lastly, I received this service twice. Both times I left the shop with obvious clippings on my face and neck that I had to dust off in the car. Again I don’t expect to walk out of any barber shop in perfect condition. But after being disappointed twice for the repeated reasons above, I won’t be back.

One of the best shops around Pittsburgh, if not the best! I’ve been getting my hair cut for many years, and I have to say that all the barbers here are worth it. The atmosphere is great, with music and lively conversation every time you come in, along with proficient cuts that don’t keep you there for hours—fast, efficient, and, as I said above, truly professional.

My husband has been going to Jared for over a year and he’s always done a great job cutting his hair. Today, we bought our son in who is a little over one year old for his first haircut. Jared did a wonderful job trimming my son’s hair to a length that is manageable but not too short, and he was very patient with him. Also the crew saved some of our little guy’s hair for us which was very sweet!
