Customer Reviews
The massage professionals here are great. However, I haven't come back in a couple years due to an experience I had that really rubbed me the wrong way. It was late winter of 2023, and I had a gift card to use. Really looking forward to it, except the day of, we had a late winter snow. Too treacherous to drive. I called, and the receptionist politely stated that I would still be charged. I didn't even want a card on file, since I had a gift card to use, but they do not have a way to reserve my appointment without putting a credit card on file. So my card would be charged. I expressed my discontent to the receptionist. A couple days later, I received a call from the owner. He left a message, and it was very snarky. Stated that they would actually not be charging my card. But then, I checked
Some of the massage therapists were highly skilled, but the ridiculous policies and unprofessional management make it not worth it. The business owner, Matt, made me feel very uncomfortable, which is reason enough not to return. I can’t imagine what it’s like to work there. Trust your instincts and go elsewhere. EDIT: The owner’s reply below is a deflection. My review was not about “PoLiCiEs nOt bEiNg a fIt.” It was about feeling uncomfortable during my direct interactions with him, which at times felt unsettling and inappropriate. Reframing that as a generic policy issue sidesteps accountability, which I’ve noticed in other responses as well. That kind of dismissiveness is exactly why I won’t be returning. Accountability starts at the top.
Unfortunately didn’t even get to enjoy my prenatal massage as I have flu and Covid, along with my baby. Canceled my massage 12 hours before, because we just got the call from urgent care and still got charged. If I was selfish I would’ve kept the appt but they clearly don’t care about customers
The worst place ever. They cancelled on me multiple times on the same day. I wanted to put my membership on hold and they were totally unreasonable. Massages were mediocre at best. Stay far away from this place.
If you're looking for a business to establish a cordial relationship with, this is not it. My tire went flat en route and on the side of the road I had to call and postpone. I was politely told "That's terrible, I'm so sorry! We're still charging you." Keep in mind I was a faithful regular with a monthly membership. I don't care what the oFfIcIaL pOlIcY is. I've had two other massage therapists -- independent ones! - in other towns who swore they would never do that. I once woke up with a fever and had to same day postpone, and my great therapist said no problem, despite her """OFFICIAL POLICY""""! I've had dentists and PTs (independent offices) also make exceptions for extenuating circumstances (sickness). It's not like I was just casually no showing.
