Elegant Nails On El Paseo

Came here for a manicure with my sister while on holiday as a walk-in. She did such a lovely job and was very accommodating to take us without an appointment. Such a pleasant shop and experience, and our regular manicures lasted a really long time! Definitely recommend.

I made an appointment over a month ago with Nancy for my vacation. I had called her twice over the course of the last month to make sure she had my appointment even calling two days ago to confirm my appointment. She told me oh yes Kathy I have you down. On my way this morning I called a third time letting her know I was on my way 4 minutes before I arrived & she said Yes Kathy, I am waiting for you! I arrive @ 9:32 and she acts like she doesn't know me with a rude, scowl on her face and a Can I help you? I said yes it's me Kathy here for my 9:30 appointment! There is a woman in the chair and she says oh she is Kathy too! And laughs. Sorry I don't see the humor here. Ugh, never again! Nancy was super sweet however, I made an appointment for a mani/pedi with my girlfriend (it was her birthday)! Luckily the birthday girl didn’t have to wait to long. Me on the other hand, I had my feet in the water for 50 minutes before I decided that I’m not getting a pedi. Nancy rushed over to me and slapped some gel French mani on me. She did a good job but rushed. In the end charged me over $100! The polish only lasted a week! I have very healthy, strong nails and my poor nails are wrecked! It has been over a month and a half. Yes, I have had gel before and have never experienced it like this.

I booked an appointment with Nancy, she let me know it was Cash only when I arrived at my appointment, not prior when we spoke on the phone. so I left to the bank that is down the street to pull out cash. When I returned she was no longer there. I was told by the gardener that she had left. Very poor service

I was passing by to check on prices and was not welcomed nor did I feel like my money was wanted here. I heard great compliments from friends who go every week.
