This store is telling GROWN women what purse they can and cannot wear into the store. A store that sells the cheapest, readily available products is treating people like thieves and think there are not a million other hair stores a person can go to. I will never step foot in there again. Imagine Nordstrom and other high end stores not having any such policy and a cheap hair store trying to hold your purse in a "locker" while you shop and not have it within your eyesight. If I could leave zero stars I would. I’ve been coming to this location for years and they recently decided that they’re not allow certain size bags into the store and offer a locker by the door to lock it in. Now if there is a theft problem there are several ways to handle that issue like security….maybe, instead me a customer with a “large bag” should trust your janky lockers at the front door with my property? Unacceptable. It’s as if these businesses just think because they have majority black customers they can do whatever they please, but you lost a customer today and I’m going to ensure no one I know comes to this location or any with a name remotely close to Elegant Beauty Supply, because money talks and in a few months I’d love to see you shut down like the Arby’s next door. I walked in to this store today to pick up a few haircare products. I've been here at least twice before. Well today, the young lady at the register noticed my "large bag" and I formed me there is a large bag policy and she offered a complimentary locker to store my bag while I shopped and would give it back when I leave. Now ... Let me just say I'm disappointed in everyone who forced them to implement such a policy, please stop ruining the world for us all. However, they have security and cameras in the store to monitor for theft. So... This location is an absolute disgrace. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and acts like helping customers is a burden. You literally have to chase someone down just to get the bare minimum of assistance.I grabbed an item that was clearly marked at one price, yet at the register they tried to charge me more. When I questioned it, the employee shrugged and basically told me, “That’s what you have to pay.” No explanation, no accountability, and they refused to honor the price that was visibly displayed.The attitude, the lack of customer service, the complete absence of basic courtesy — it’s unacceptable. This place is a joke and a rip off. I feel like they are selling knock off electrionic product and putting them in reptuable company boxes, no different from places selling knock off cloth. I recommend never buying any type of electronics like hair clippers or shavers they are a complete piece of crap, their warranty is shows their belief in their product which basicly states you purchase at premium price with no return once you pay, I made the mistake of not looking at my recipe once I paid, three days later I tried the clippers, they did not work, I took them back and did even ask for a refund, i wanted to upgrade and pay the difference and they did won't to stand behind their product and wanted me to pay the full price for another pair of chippers with absolutely no credit from the clip
