I came to this location because I couldn't get an appointment with my regular barber. The staff was nice and the price was really good. I just really hate my haircut. It's nice and neat but I told the barber that I was trying to grow my hair out. He cut off most of the progress I made. It took everything inside not to start crying.I can't even get my curls to come in. It's just hair so it will grow back. I'm just really disappointed.

Shamira is wonderful-gave me a great cut without chopping off all of my hair. She takes a real interest in her clients and anticipates what I need. Will definitely go back!

I'm the kind of chick that rocks an undercut with a fade, and that can only be done at a Black barbershop. Thankfully Elegance is a short walk away from my house and they have Bear, who is simply a master with the clippers. I may be moving soon, but I'm definitely coming back to Chicago every few months to get a sick fade done by Bear.

This place is no nonsense. They know hair and how to make it look fabulous. I've been there three times. Each time, they fully exceeded my expectations with their skillful and sharp cuts. I won't go anywhere else. If there is a wait, it's worth it. You won't be disappointed.

This salon is the best salon to do Ladies and gentleman hair. Also, I have been going there since 2013 and I really like it and I highly recommend.... when you go there ask for Christie she is the best to do your hair.
