Customer Reviews
Johnny is an awesome guy and will give you an amazing haircut for a reasonable price! On top of that his barbershop is very clean and has a very welcoming interior. I’d definitely recommend going to him if you’re looking for haircuts in Greenville!
Went to Mr. Johnny a couple of weeks ago because he was recommended to me by a few people. He was surer nice and the decor in his shop is pretty cool. Unfortunately, the haircut was nothing spectacular. I asked for a low skin fade and to have my hair line, lined up. The fade was barely a fade at all and the line up was not lined hardly at all. When I say line up, like I mean take a straight razor out and line it up lol. Very underwhelming for a $30 haircut that I could've got at great clips.
Johnny is the man. Been going to him for the duration of my undergrad at ECU. I’ve tried other barbers and shops in the area and back home and nobody gets me right like he does. He’s a mind reader when cutting hair, and usually requires little instruction to get the cut you want. My best cuts have always come from Johnny. Really neat shop with great ecu atmosphere and a pool table/checkers to pass time. He takes appointments but I always walk in and the wait is never long. My highest reccomendation goes to El Toro
Over priced and poor service. Brought my nephew there with a full head of hair asking for a simple cut. The man claimed he would do it. Proceeded to tell me it would be $40 for the cut because “your nephew hair is long”. The entire time he used clippers with a comb not even trying to make the hair cut how the photo looked. The entire time he was telling me “I can’t see anything in that picture, it shows nothing. I had to pay an additional $30 at a salon to get his hair cut again to be right. One side is at least 2” longer than the other and it was uneven all around. Don’t go here if you have curly hair or want any style done. *** You can clearly see how his hair was as it wasn’t 3 ft long. And my nephew is autistic and under 18, thank you very much. Trust me I will not go back***
Great Barber!! Johnny’s a really friendly guy that likes to take his time cutting peoples hair. Fair price and definitely worth the wait, really close to Ecu campus too! (E 10th street)
