El Jefe Barber Shop

I went in yesterday for a simple fade and unfortunately had a pretty rough experience. The barber scraped my face while lining me up, leaving me bleeding, and the fade itself came out uneven. She also didn’t hand me a mirror to check the final result before I left. I understand sometimes you take what you can get, but this was disappointing. I still tipped her out of courtesy, but honestly I shouldn’t have based on the quality of the service. Would not return.

I absolutely loved this barbershop 💈 !! my son is autistic 🧩, i usually have a really hard time when people cut his hair it’s too much sensory input for him. But she was very patient with him she was very gentle she spoke to him she told him what she was doing and what to expect almost as if she knew he was special needs. He did so well with Elvira 🥰. Pricing is great, the people are great the environment is 🔥. Great music 🎶 I’ll never go anywhere else.

Ghosted by a Barbershop??? PLS TAKE MY MONEY!!!! Honestly, the best haircut I've gotten in AZ since moving here. However, the staff is extremely unprofessional and I wont be going there again- and trust me, not by my choice. A few months ago, I went in for a walk-in haircut and sat in the waiting area for 20-30 min while the barbers were talking and joking in the back. After about half-an-hour they finally greeted me and told me that I couldn't get a cut unless I had an appointment. I disputed that I had been waiting there for so long and no one had even come up. Nevertheless, one barber politely stepped in and said that he could fit me in but to ensure to make an appointment next time. Best Barbershop in AZ😎 Elvira is the GOAT🐐 at what she does! Professional and graduated barber. Bilingual and a very nice, genuine person. Every time I go to Elvira’s I don’t just get a haircut, I get quality time with a good friend🙏🏽 . She’s been cutting my hair for over 5 years now. Very clean and modernized barbershop, always has music or movies on the TVs and will let you put a song recommendation. Tell her what you’re looking for in a haircut and she will give you the best advice on how to get there and give you the best cut you could ask for!

Ive brought my son here before to get his hair cut and I loved it. I believe Elvira cut his hair. So I called to schedule an appointment since I know that due to COVID It’s appointment only. Elvira answered the phone and asked if I could come in at 8 am. Which I’ve already sat an HOUR outside waiting and nothing! How the hell are you out here telling people to be here at a certain time and not show up??? Having it interfere with anything else I had scheduled after. Plus i don’t even live near this place. Super unprofessional. I even mentioned this place to my brother in law, which, after telling him about my experience he will not be coming here either. Such a shame. Oh well.
