I’ve lived in the area my whole life, me and my family has been there before in the past, but the last time I went a couple months ago, they snuck a relaxer or texturizer in my hair without me knowing, it was already pre-mixed in a unmarked bottle, I don’t speak Spanish but I heard them consulting about it, it was very obvious, but I didn’t know the extent, i thought it was just a question or conversation about choice of products. Because I didn’t know about it, I didn’t follow the proper after care and my hair ended up falling out, breaking off, I had a bald spot, I had to cut my hair into a mushroom bob (my hair was slightly past my shoulders) and I can still faintly smell it when I wash my hair all these months later.
