I’ve known Pat for over 10 years, and Edit Salon is hands down the BEST in Chicago—no question. Pat’s talent, precision, and eye for style are on another level. Every cut is flawless, every time. If you want a next-level haircut or style, do not go anywhere else. Edit Salon is it. Period.!!

I have had my hair cut here many times, I live in the neighborhood by Patrick and many of the folks that work in his salon. All my cuts have been great. This salon and Patricks style are becoming dated quickly though, e.g. gendered cuts: those are out and have been. Why do women get charged more for the same service? Buzz vs Scissors is the way. Something is in decline with edit though and it’s a bit concerning. Maybe it has to do with the whole traditional gender thing? The Salon has been looking different and today… what’s up with this flag? Seems a bit odd without explanation in this moment? Care to share?

If you’re looking for someone who you can trust with your hair- Patrick is your guy. He’s full of knowledge about various hair types and can deliver the result you’re looking for. Treat yourself- having a haircut that you can style comfortably is the best feeling. Can’t put a price on self confidence.

Absolutely love this place but most importantly my hair stylist Samantha! She brought my hair back to life with a same but different look! She took her time in making sure I was happy with the results! Kept my length too! 10/10 would recommend to book with her! Plus the soft curls she left me with were absolutely stunning!

Zelty was amazing! She cut my hair exactly how I had asked and took her time and was so sweet!
