I found the owner right around early pandemic time and kept her as my only braider. Fast forward to me being away for many years out of state, I recently had an appointment to have my hair re-braided while in town and was so happy yet again with the skill and look of my new braids! THE BEST braiders in Boston. I don't know what it is with this generation of new braiders but i simply can't afford to pay $500 every time i want to get my hair done. The lovely, talented women at Eddyb charge a fair price and do excellent, clean work. I had three women working on my small butt-length braids and boy was it amazing to watch. All the women at the salon are hard-working and helped me make sure I got exactly what i wanted. I had to get my hair braided for vacation/work in Hawai'i where there's absolutely NO place for black women to get their hair done so i needed a style with longevity. I wore these braids from May until the end of August 😳! I will absolutely be making this shop my regular shop while I'm living in Boston. Thank you again!

Excellent response time for an appointment and all the ladies were lovely in the shop. My braids came out fantastic! The quality is the best I’ve had since moving to Massachusetts. I’m happy I finally found a shop I’ll be going to from now on. Thank you Bright!

I cannot NOT recommend this place enough. I made an appointment a week in advance for a simple wash and blow dry. I got there on time and the person doing my hair got there 15 minutes late. Then, when she washed my hair (I have 4C) she didn’t detangle my hair or anything, just proceeded to put my hair into a big knot. THEN!! When she blow dried my hair she didn’t section it off, instead decided to blow dry it in one fell swoop RIPPING my hair out and then said I was done. Mind you I have tangles in my hair and it is still damp. I will never ever go here again.
