Edamama Cute Cuts & More - Hair Salon for Kids

Very tense environment. No music. The receptionist had the worst unwelcoming attitude, the hairdresser should be more properly dressed for children. Everyone had a tense face. No smiles. Even my 3 year old asked me why everyone was so serious. And, her bangs were titled and so short that I avoided asking for her to fix them. I’m sad, bc I was trying to change the place where we take our daughter for a haircut… but we’re not coming back. So disappointed !

Fantastic salon for kids. Went here for my 2year olds first professional haircut. The salon is whimsical and well kept. The stylist was kind and patient. She put on Daniel Tiger for my son and made the experience so lovely. My son left with a beautiful haircut and a certificate. I can’t recommend them enough.

We have been coming here for years now. The cuts are more than I would like to pay, HOWEVER they are so good with kids, specifically screaming ones that do not want their hair cut. If you have a little one with sensory issues, they are great. The price is worth it over having to cut their hair yourself or leaving because your kid is bothering other clients. Definitely recommend

I have been here many times with my other children and had good experiences. However, this was my first time with a newer stylist and I left extremely unhappy. My son has longer curly hair and I told her I wanted a trim just to clean it up but still wanted it long. I even showed her a picture of a previous haircut (from a different salon). She said she understood what I wanted then proceeded to cut his hair so short. I have been crying ever since because he doesn’t even look like himself anymore it is so much shorter than what I wanted. *Editing to add* The owner Eda reached out to me very shortly after I posted my original review apologizing for the haircut my son received. Honestly I was a little disappointed with this place. It’s super adorable and seems very kid friendly ( which is why I booked it ). Upon arriving, no one greeted us. It was an awkward feel. Then finally after standing around the lady asked how can she help and I told her I had an appt. Overall their vibes just seemed bothered. Not friendly, didn’t interact with the kids to make them feel somewhat comfortable. My son is a yr and this was his first haircut, I thought maybe they could have been a little friendlier instead of being cold and uptight. Wouldn’t recommend, or visit again.
