I’ve been seeing Yunia for the past almost 3 years now, she is my go to girl for braids and all curl related hair care. Ive never sought any other salon service since because she is the absolute best—all her years of experience shows in her devotion, patience and skills. Definitely on the pricier end, but the quality in hair service shows. Once you book with her, you’re hooked🥰❤️

yunia is the best in the world for anything you need done for your hair, ESPECIALLY ESPECIALLY sew ins!!! she is superrrrr quick at braiding and the sew ins always blend so seamlessly, i always get leave out and when she’s done it looks like my bundles are my real hair, it’s completely unnoticeable.. it’s truly fantastic. once you start getting your hair done with yunia, you will never need to go to anyone else

Been getting my hair braided at Ebony and Ivory with Yunia, for over 3 years. I should have put a review out a long time ago. All the Ladies here are AMAZING. Trudy is the owner, she is very kind and caring. The clients I see Trudy take care of (while getting my hair done) look fabulous. I don’t really get to see Norma too much because the days I usually get my hair done are her days off but when I do, she seems very professional and looks like she knows exactly what she’s doing :). Yunia gets my braids to look more and more beautiful every time. I always get asked “ Wow, who does your braids?” all the time. She braids with minimal pain, which is huge for me. Feels like family to me now, great vibes, and perfect location for me.

8/8/2025 I’m coming back yet again, to say that I’ve now been going to this salon for 4 years, and my experience gets better and better each time! Yesterday I got Boho braids done, and I’ve never had ANYONE do as good a job as Yunia! My hair looks full, the price is right, and they last and look nice for a long time! Highly recommend her! 3 YEARS AGO Yunia is the absolute best!!! She has saved my hair more than once. When you’re in her chair she is kind, funny, and QUICK! Easily one of the fastest hair ladies I’ve been too! She has done my hair at least four time now…weaves and braids! I will continue to go to her FOREVER! Or at least until I leave Utah 😂 I highly recommend her service!

Yunia is amazing! Seriously don’t waste your time & money going anywhere else! I’ve personally tried almost all of the braiding salons in the Salt Lake City area & none compare to Yunia’s skill. She is fast but still takes the time to do it right so the braids stay in & your hair doesn’t get damaged. She is super accommodating also! She even came in on her day off to braid my hair before my vacation! I’ll never go anywhere else to get my hair braided!
