Eastern Carolina Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery; Dr. Armstrong

I have been to Dr Armstrong before for an extraction and an implant. But, moved away from the area to New Bern. When I had to have the same process on another cracked tooth, I was given an estimate by my current dentist for about $7500 and they offered me a payment plan. That seemed really high to me and my insurance doesn't cover it. I decided to go back to Dr Armstrong for a 2nd opinion. His estimate was less than half of the first dentist. Because I had no issues the first time and Dr Armstrong does such beautiful work, I drove back to Morehead and had him do my 2nd one. As before, job well done! And, at half the price! Thank you, Dr. Armstrong!

My first experience with them YEARS ago was terrible. Not because of the work that was done but the receptionist was rude and inconvenienced by being asked questions because she didn't tell me about a consultation fee. This time, November of 2024, was very different. The person who answered the phone was extremely positive, very informative, requesting information from me to get the ball rolling, also told me the consultation fee. Appointment wasn't until January, but they called me throughout the month telling me they had openings. Super helpful cause I was able to be seen in November versus January. All the staff is welcoming, the assistant I had talked with about the procedure, showed a video, and I spoke with the dentist about what to expect, etc. Also found out that any BCBS insurance

I had my wisdom teeth pulled last year and I was extremely nervous. Dr. Armstrong was extremely kind, generous and answered all my questions as well as made me feel comfortable about the removal. Staff was also very kind and comforting. After waking up from the anesthesia, staff made sure I had my meds sent to the pharmacy and gave me instructions on paper to reference if I had any questions. They also made sure to let me know that I can call them with any concerns I had. I called a few times and staff was just the sweetest! Definitely recommend this place! 10/10

This office is amazing. They called to bump up my time and get my consult and tooth extraction done at the same time. I was so nervous but everyone in the office was so sweet and professional. I would recommend this office to anyone! Thanks for everything!

I had a fantastic experience this morning while getting a tooth extracted. Dr. Armstrong was extremely nice, comforting, and did a great job! His assistant Rebecca was an angel! I was extremely nervous and she tried to make me as comfortable and relaxed as possible. I think I woke up from procedure thinking I was in Vegas so that says a lot about how great it all went. I would highly recommend Dr. Armstrong and Rebecca to anyone! Thank you for the compassion you showed me today!
