East Side

This barbershop is ran by father and son and I usually get my haircut by the older gentleman but this particular day he wasn't there so his son cut my hair I explained that I wanted it cut short all over I was the only customer in the barbershop at the time of my haircut until this woman comes into the shop sits down in a barbershop chair as if she owns the place and starts talking to the one and barber cutting my hair which resulted in me not getting the haircut I wanted sides and back very short and the front he left a big flap of hair it looks ridiculous and I had to pay $15 for a haircut i hate all because this friend of his decided to come in and tell her life story! I will be looking for a different place.

It's the local small town barber shop you grew up with. Mr Waldrop (Bo) has been cutting my hair off and on for 30 years now, and now his son Scott does. They're pretty quick, good conversation as always about current events and local stuff, and I believe they're charging about 12 bucks. Not bad. Pretty good shop with good folk. Always enjoy going there and catching up with people.

I've been getting my hair cut here as far back as I can remember. The place is always clean, and the speed and value is excellent. (If you go by during a busy lunch time or just after school lets out, yes, expect to wait a little bit) It is a small town shop, and to me you can't beat the the experience and the friendships. It is a great place to get your hair cut but also to learn a little something new about anything you are willing to bring up.

Finally my son got the haircut he wanted. It was simple but the older gentleman who owns the place did a fine job. Communicated with my son well. Told a few funny stories too lol. Great place to come for simple men’s clean style cut without a lot of wasted time waiting and talking.

First the good. The price is $11, they work fast, and they have a vacuum system attached to their trimmers so itchy hair trimmings don't get everywhere. Now the bad. I came in for a haircut, I told the older gentleman I was getting engagement pictures that day. I told him just a trim/haircut and that I wanted the sides and back a little shorter that the top and everything layered and blended well. Then I showed him how much I wanted off the top. When he handed me my glasses back I looked terrible. Top is much shorter than I indicated, and the sides are tight like a military style buzz. The change in length from top to sides is abrupt and looks uneven, not layered and blended like I told him. When I commented on this he didn't give me a response at all.
