When I first moved up here 5 years ago I was recommended to come here. I am a natural 4 b-4c hair. I only get my hair straightened every 6 months. I Took pride in my hair. I remember during my experience the smell coming from my hair wasn’t pleasant and the result of it wasn’t my sleek, shiny results I’m use to. Fast forward a few weeks later I wash my hair. No curls are coming back. I cried so hard. I washed and washed and nothing. Then I realize she put relaxer in my hair during the wash! I would never go back or recommend!!!!

she charged me extra to put a relaxer over my whole entire head, as a professional you are told not to do so. she explained she had to relax my whole head because I have natural kinky hair. I did not request a relaxer over my entire head but she insisted. she left the relaxer on for to long after I told her it burns she proceeded to comb through my hair instead of washing it out immediately. I am left with burns all over my head and hair loss. I will be taking this salon to court if I do not receive a call back. if I could give 0 stars I would.. this salon is very unprofessional.

Professional and friendly service. I went to get a (butterfly) layered hair cut and blow dry my hair straight. I've heard they are great working with Black and Caribbean hair. My hairdresser was knowledgeable and quickly worked with my hair leaving it silky and gorgeous. I would definitely recommend E & J Dominican Hair Salon!

Took my daughter for her first real hair cut and blow out. They were so patient and kind. So professional. Knew exactly what to do for her hair. This is our spot!!!

Been wanting to try this salon for quite some time. Today was a first and did not disappoint. I get my hair blown out 1-3x a year (natural curly) and I went in because it was open on a Monday. Ingrid deep conditioned, blow dried and flat ironed. I walked feeling 100% new. Will definitely return and on a Monday, was in and out in 1.5hrs. 🇩🇴 🇩🇴 🇩🇴💙
