I took my son here while we were in town to get twisted up and I am so disappointed in the work. The customer service and cleanliness of the facility were both so awesome and very welcoming. I gave 2 stars because the quality of the work was very poor; AND the fee for doing so isn’t compatible with the EXPECTED outcome. Only the top portion of his Lil head is twisted because he was tapered. However, I’m a self made hair stylist, I started out doing dreads so I know what they should look like. It’s like she only twisted the roots, no palm rolling to flatten the new growth of the ends so his hair was puffy and looked like it was never done. because she used some gel/edge control. I went in around 1 and was immediately seated. The cut I had requested was a fade, and the guy Vaughn was outstanding. Definitely going back. The atmosphere is wonderful, and all the guys that work the are friendly. They make conversation and really make u feel like ur welcomed and appreciated.

Excellent barber! The staff is friendly and on the weekend they have free boiled food for customers. The shop is very clean and so are the restrooms. The owner is always willing to fit our son into his busy schedule. We have been going to this shop for over 4 years and dont intend on changing.

So I walked into this establishment on a Tuesday evening at 4:40 p.m. and when I walked in the guy told me he was closed, his name was Joe. On the door it clearly says that they close at 6 p.m. but I just left anyway without an argument. I went next door to frost top to grab a bite to eat and I noticed since I was there that to other guys walked into the barber shop andand got their haircuts. As much as I hate to make this a racial issue, the barber shop is owned by a black man with black employees, I am a white male that was rejected and the two gentlemen that were served were black. Do you have a better explanation for this!?!
