I have been seeing Ligia for my hair for over a year now and recently followed her to the Keith Dylan salon. Ligia is excellent! She pays close attention to detail and has done amazing work with my cuts and color. She has a great eye and also has a very warm and welcoming personality. I was very happy that I was able to bring my dog to my last visit. She always accommodates me into her schedule and always gives me a great experience.

I went in with a haircut that wasn’t too bad, but I did it myself, and it wasn’t professional and needed some adjusting. Specifically my bangs, they were choppy. Unfortunately, I was given to Maritza. It seemed to me that after lots and lots of cutting my bang looked the same. Ugly and square instead of a curtain bang. She told me she was thinning it, but she didn’t seem to understand the principles of head angles and directional cut that create nice flowing lines in the hair. So now I have even shorter choppy, ugly bangs. I kind of want to cry. I’m going to a work party tonight and I feel so unlucky that I was paired with this person who doesn’t seem to have the skill to fix my hair. She kept telling me “you have to work it out. Joseph did my balayage and the results look very refined. The blending is seamless, the tone is natural, and the dimension is beautifully balanced. His training at a professional academy in Paris, France clearly shows in his technique and attention to detail. The color feels polished, modern, and easy to maintain. He threw in 2 treatments while doing my balayage to make sure my hair won’t be fried by the bleach he did a k18 treatment which is a bonder and a kerastase moisturizing mask. My hair became softer than before i get the balayage. I can’t recommend him enough.

Now, let's talk stylists. Ligia Hernandez approaches hair color like a scientist. She knows exactly where to put the lighter strands and where to bring in the deeper shaded strands to keep out the brassiness. And, for some wild reason, my color stays in place for almost 2 weeks longer than ever before! She is gold!!!
