DY Hair Salon Astoria is the best place I've ever been. I drive over an hour to get there, and that says a lot. I'm a very difficult person to trust when it comes to my haircut, but David does a phenomenal job every single time. I showed him exactly how I wanted my haircut, and he got it perfect. I'm so proud and grateful to have finally found someone I can truly trust with my hair. I recommend David 100% to all my friends and family. Thank you!🙏🏻

Once he gave me the confidence to take that leap I’ve never looked back. He quickly became the first and only person I would ever trust to dye my hair. Not only do I find any excuse to go visit him because there’s something so uplifting about the environment he has created but our relationship has evolved so naturally over the years that now I walk into his salon without saying a word, he just knows. I have been having long hair for the last 3 years and was longing for a big change. I am so so happy that I chose David and his salon! Even though I live in NJ, and it takes me an hour and change to get to him, I am so so so happy with my David’s vision and work. Absolutely, absolutely talented, amazing colorist and as a bonus salon has a great atmosphere. Both pics attached from the day of the haircut and after the glazing and trimming that we did a 5-6 weeks later. If you are looking for someone creative and help you find your style and haircut, I can’t recommend David more ❤️

David was welcoming and kind. He always asked how I wanted to cut and dye my hair. He was patient and precise with his cutting and balayage. I love the color on my hair!! He gave tips to maintain hair. His assistant was also kind and helpful. I recommend going to DY hair salon!
