Dua is a gorgeous salon with the best staff. Every stylist I've ever been to there has been top notch. The owner, Shime, is warm and personable and you can tell she treats her staff great based on how happy they all are everyday at work. Josie has been doing my hair most recently and always leaves me feeling confident.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dua! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and valued—not just as a customer, but as someone they truly wanted to make feel beautiful. Their professionalism is unmatched. My stylist, Megan, takes time to listen, understand my vision, and brings it to life with incredible skill (she also makes a killer coffee!!). Beyond the stunning salon space itself, what truly sets this place apart is the empowering women who work here. Their passion, confidence, and dedication to their craft create an atmosphere that makes you feel uplifted and inspired. This is a space where beauty, inside and out, is celebrated. I leave feeling more confident every time, and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair!

This would have been my first time going to a hairdresser in New Jersey, and I had been searching for a good one for a long time. On November 9, 2025, I requested an appointment with Maria for February 14, 2026. Since it was Valentine’s Day, I wanted to secure an early appointment and avoid any availability issues. I planned my entire Valentine’s Day around this appointment. On February 10, I received a voicemail stating that Maria would not be able to take my appointment. I tried calling back but could not reach anyone. It was unclear whether Maria would be unavailable that day or not working at all, as the message only said that she could not take the appointment. I cannot recommend Dua enough. I am very particular with my hair and Megan always goes above and beyond. She got me wedding ready during my last appointment and my hair was PERFECT. Always a joy spending time in this salon.

I had such a great experience with Josie! She took the time to really listen to what I wanted and was incredibly thoughtful and precise when it came to matching my hair color. I’ve had a hard time in the past getting the tone just right, but Josie absolutely nailed it. The color looks natural, vibrant, and completely “me.” She never rushed, explained every step, and made the whole process feel relaxed and personalized. I left feeling like a million bucks.
