I have super curly hair and I’m very satisfied with my highlights. Professional hair dressers, clean place and affordable! My daughter loved her hairstyle too.

They literally cut my hair off!! The stylist asked if I wanted my ends clipped and she showed me how much she was cutting. It was not this much hair she said she was trimming originally. I wasn’t paying attention and she cut off a lot of my hair. It was more like a haircut and not a trim. I definitely won’t be coming back here. I’m going to upload before and after pictures for reference. Left picture is clearly the before picture. The front of my hair doesn’t even touch my shoulders anymore. I’m convinced this was intentional 😡

I’ve been coming to DShanty Dominican Hair Salon since they first opened like over 7 years ago, and every visit feels like coming home. The ladies there treat me like family, and that’s why even after moving to Texas 4 years ago, I still come back every 6 months just to get my trim—nobody else touches my hair, that’s how much I trust them. Rocio usually washes, conditions, and roller sets my 3C curls, and her deep conditioning treatments always leave my hair nourished, healthy, and beautifully maintained. Idelka is incredibly professional, and this summer her brother Luigi did my nails and they came out absolutely gorgeous! This salon is truly one of a kind. I’ll be a forever customer. 💕✨

I enjoyed this salon. I came in and was greeted by smiles and greetings. I love how polite and professional everyone is: they had very nice and comforting music playing. Everyone was very accommodating. Some of the staff who are mostly Spanish speaking were very good about redirecting me to the staff that speak more English to help interpret what I was asking for for my hair. This is a great salon to come practice Spanish! The professionals are very good and style all types of hair. They gave me a deep condition, cut off my heat damaged hair, and gave me a silk press. My hair needed to be done and I am always shy about trying new places. I’m very glad I found this salon. Next time I get paid I will be back.
