Be real specific on what you want. Told the stylist that it was my daughter birthday and wanted her to look especially nice for a dance she was going to. Stylist could not recommend anything, had to suggest curls and braids. My daughter is a Special Needs adult and does not talk. My daughter enjoyed the treatment but I could have done the same thing at home. I was not overly impressed. Daughter was happy so I just paid and left. Update: Gave it another try and was very pleased with the results. The girl that did my daughter's hair this time offered suggestions and her hair turned out fabulous. I visited this place a few weeks ago. I recently moved to Norfolk so I was looking for a place to get my hair done. All I wanted was a blow out. I come from Maryland and have been to the now closed Annapolis location as well as the towson. When I went to these locations I paid the standard price for a blow out and had great experiences. I am biracial and have very curly hair that goes about two inches past my shoulders when straight, but have had no issues in the past at the prior locations. When I went to check out the lady informed me that today I wouldn’t be charged the extended time fee but in the future since my hair takes longer than 45 minutes to be done the fee will need to be added on. I would understand if I needed something extra to be done then to have fees added on but since I

I visited this location for the first time today and had an AMAZING experience. Laina was my stylist and she did such an incredible job and I just had to leave her a review because I was so happy with my blowout!! I was having maternity photos taken today and scheduled my appointment last minute and I’m so glad I did. She listened to what I wanted and my personal intel about my hair type and really took it all into consideration. Typically I am really hesitant to let most people do my hair because it never turns out the way I want, but she did a perfect job and I could not have been happier!!! I wish she could do my hair everyday and I will definitely be going back to see her!

I’ve been a DryBar customer since 2017 and it’s my favorite way to treat myself. I also love coming here when I’m traveling to save time and space in my luggage. Today was a busy day (Christmas Eve) and Sky and Quinn were rockstars! The VB location is beautiful, bright, and energetic. From the check in, to the blow out, to leaving it is always a great experience. Looking forward to coming back when I’m in town

**Edit: I got my family pictures back and I just need you guys to see how bad the frizz was in the pictures. After spending hundreds on a photoshoot, I want to cry because of how bad my hair was styled. Just look at the last picture 🤦🏻‍♀️ Avoid this place at all costs! The pictures speak for themselves. I came here to get a blowout before I went to get my family pictures done. This was my first time here and I chose the cosmo tai from the menu. The stylist I got assigned to has no idea what they’re doing. She attempted to do the blowout and the way she was using the round brush, I just knew this was going to be a mess.
