Drybar - Summit

I made an appointment a few weeks ago for an updo (one of the services offered…) and when I arrived yesterday both staff that were there informed me they don’t know how to do updos and they weren’t sure why I was scheduled with them. Despite this, they attempted to do my hair repeatedly saying they don’t know how to do updos. After they finished “styling” my hair, they charged me full price and asked me if I would like to leave a tip by cash or card. I left in tears and had to quickly find a last minute appointment elsewhere I fix it before an event. Including photos of the finished product and the inspiration photos.

I went to dry bar summit before a wedding and requested a braid like the one shown in the look book, photo attached. The woman doing my hair instilled no confidence at the beginning when I heard her ask not one, but two of her colleagues if they knew how to do a braid like I requested. I was questioning if I should just say I didn’t want a braid anymore, but she assured me she could do it. She did an initial braid that was just within my hair and could barely be seen and I said that’s not what I was looking for and I showed her the photo from the look book a second time to emphasize what I wanted. I recently became a Bar Fly member and have been going regularly to the Summit location. All of the stylists are amazing and a blow out lasts me a full week. Most recently I did a Mai Tai with Lumi. The curls were perfect. Highly recommend.
