Drybar - Suburban Square

I had a really wonderful experience with Devon today at the Ardmore location, she was fantastic! She really listened and delivered on the style I was looking for, took her time, and cherry on top was the relaxing massage technique she used while washing my hair. I will definitely be back to see her again.

Went for an updo and expected to be able to look through a lookbook as advertised when booking the appt online. Thinking if I chose a look from the lookbook it wouldn’t be difficult for the stylist to execute. There was no lookbook to choose from so I chose a simple updo style quickly on my phone. The stylist tried for about 20 minutes and I left with a completely different look than asked and re did my hair myself before the event. You could tell the stylists are not experienced

I am so disappointed in my first ever Drybar experience. I’ll start by saying that outside of proms and weddings, I have never had my hair professionally styled, or even gotten a standard blowout. I was traveling from out of town to attend a company holiday party and I wanted something to look professionally done and not like I had done it myself. When booking the appointment I selected the “Old Fashioned” style, which is very large brushed out waves with a ton of volume. I wasn’t sure what to expect, so I called this location almost a week in advance to ask a few questions and also give them a heads up that I have very long hair. The receptionist told me she would make a note of it and add an extra 15 minutes to my appointment time. Day of, the stylist asked me again what style I wanted
