Drybar Providence

Despite the bad reviews, I still took a chance and went yesterday for a quick blowout. Service was professional, scalp massaging they do while shampooing is soooo nice bc my scalp gets itchy during the winter. Blowout came out perfect and will definitely last me ay least 4-5 days. She was able to also deal with my curly knotted hair pretty efficiently. I was impressed. I forgot my stylists name but thanks so much!!

I recently visited the Providence Drybar at 50 Park Row W and had a very disappointing experience. My stylist was replaced unexpectedly, communication was confusing, and the flat iron used on my hair appeared worn out. I also was unable to purchase a $100 gift card to receive the promotional $20 certificate because staff left early. What made this experience even more frustrating is that I took the time to email management with detailed feedback, and **I never received a response**. The lack of communication and professionalism does not reflect the high standards Drybar is known for. Looking at the current reviews for this location, it’s clear that these issues are not isolated — this team is not representing the Drybar brand properly. I don’t respect businesses that think they’re too cute to answer the phone and ignore clients. Nobody wants to answer 3 million stupid questions and prompts to get their hair blow dried for an upcoming appointment in less than two hours. I was trying to simply book and leave a card and these people sat there and didn’t answer the phone for five calls in a row! I work in the most expensive city in Boston and this never happens at dry bar or anywhere else even on a busy Saturday afternoon. Do better Providence!

I can see why this place has such low ratings. Honestly, I would give them less then zero if I could. It was my birthday. I was spending ONE day in Providence. I booked for a 4:00. But when I tried to get an Uber to get there (I'm just visiting for one day) it was slammed. There were NO Ubers picking up for over 15-20 minutes. So I called and told the girl who answered the phone that I was trying to get there and had been standing out in the cold for 15 minutes trying to get an Uber. She assured me it would be okay and to get there when I could. I finally paid a stupid amount of money for the most expensive Uber to get there and when I walked in the girl at the desk said that I was past the 15 minutes mark and they couldn't do the service. Just a dry style. There was NO one in the building

Izzy was so sweet & patient!! Took all my knots & tangles out of my hair & gave me the best blow out ever with sooooo much volume! It’s been 2 days & it still looks like I just got it 😍
