Drybar - Lexington

I want to take a moment to recognize the manager at this Drybar location for how thoughtfully and professionally she handled a challenging situation during my visit. While my appointment began with a trainee who was clearly struggling, the manager demonstrated excellent leadership by observing, assessing, and then stepping in at exactly the right moment. She handled the transition with grace—supporting her employee, ensuring my safety and comfort, and completing my service with care and efficiency so I could get back to work. What stood out most was her ability to pivot without making anyone uncomfortable or causing a scene. I had a horrible experience at the Dry Bar in Lexington today. My friends & I were going to a wedding and decided to treat ourselves to a fun hairstyle for the night. I showed my stylist 2 photos and asked for a bit of a beach wave/curl to my hair. When she finished, my hair looked very square and completely unattractive. She enlisted the help of another stylist and it just got worse. I finally asked them to stop what they were doing. I told the front desk person I did not want to walk out looking like I did and asked for it to be washed out - stating I was happy to leave the salon with wet hair. They refused stating the stylist that worked on my hair needed to leave. I paid for “service” and left extremely unhappy. They said “sorry you didn’t like it.” I will never grace the doors of anot

Milan did an excellent job on my hair. She stayed two hours after closing to finish up. She took her time detangling my hair during the wash stage and again after the wash before the blow drying. And the best part is, I made the appointment the same day. I so appreciate knowing there is somewhere and someone that can take care of my hair, and I don’t have to book 2 months in advance. Highly recommend Milan and Dry Bar!

Staff was amazing, and the service exceptional! The environment was clean, welcoming, and friendly. I left feeling and looking fantastic.

This place is terrible, my hair looks so bad I went home and washed it right after. Not to mention that it was accompanied by impersonal staff and just a weird and horrible experience. I told my stylist I didn’t much like it and she really didn’t seem to care at all. I was supposed to have old Hollywood curls for my Rehersal dinner. Needless to say, I am now going to be late for my Rehersal and have to do my own hair. I will never be back.
