Since reaching middle-age, I have had chronic dry eye from unhealthy meibomian glands. And it likely stems from staring at screens and smartphones for years and years. Since the pandemic, this problem has grown acute. I experience horrible styes on my lids 2x-3x per year. The last one was so large, the chalazion took months to recede. That's when I started with Dr. Parvus. The stye went away after one week's time. If the infection had spread, I would have needed a prescription and possibly would have been sent to ER. I began my dry eye treatments in mid-summer 2024 to unblock and unclog my meibomian glands. I go once every two to three weeks for these treatments and the whole thing takes about 45 minutes. While drops and ointments are still necessary, I don't need them as much.
